A series of unfortunate events這個系列的其中一本。

A series of unfortunate events 這個系列中,其中一本的書名叫 The ersatz elevator。

I quite like the idea of using fancy words in published text.

First of all, they can 'threaten' your readers and make you look 'professional' and 'highly educated', and second, the words are just lovely to be seen.

Have you read the book An ersatz elevator in 'a series of unfortunate events'? The word 'ersatz' is an example of fancy words. Without looking in the dictionary, you won't be able to figure out the meaning and the pronunciation of it (it means 'artificial').

As for the book, I think the story is quite good and it is suitable for P4 to F3 students in Hong Kong.
