當大家都在談論【歲月神偷】時，栗子妹卻忽然想起【年年有今日】。
誠然，【年年有今日】有點胡鬧，橋段更有抄襲之嫌，但電影中那些關於香港歷史的片段，真的教栗百看不厭。我們所處的這片土地，由平淡到璀璨，當中經歷過的風浪，絕對引人入勝。
Nury Vittachi 曾在專欄中，猜想現今年青一輩如何看世界：

有人覺得殖民地的歷史是恥辱，千方百計要抹掉，不讓後世探究。只是，不知從前的歲月，哪會珍惜今日的幸福？一向不以為歷史是包袱，會拖著進步的後腿；栗只知道，做人不能忘本。
